Watermarking is a control, not decoration: it is how you mark a document as not final, or as traceable back to a recipient. That intent breaks if the tool adds its own logo to your file, which is exactly what most free watermark services do in reverse.

This tool writes a text stamp with configurable opacity, size and rotation, either straight across the centre or on a diagonal. Because the text is drawn as a PDF font object rather than baked into a rasterised page, the file stays small and the text remains selectable and crisp at any zoom level.

Frequently asked questions

Will the tool add its own logo?
No. The only thing drawn onto your pages is the text you type.
Can I watermark only some pages?
A custom page list is supported, so you can stamp selected pages instead of the whole document.
Is the watermark removable?
A text stamp is a real PDF content object. It is not a layer a viewer can simply toggle off, though it can be edited with PDF authoring software.
Why is my watermark invisible?
Check the opacity value. A very low opacity on a light background can be nearly invisible at print scale.
Does the watermark change my file size?
Only slightly. The embedded font and a short text string add a few kilobytes.
