Splitting is the task people trust the least to a random website — splitting a bank statement or a signed contract means handing a stranger the whole document. Here the file never moves. Your browser parses the PDF and writes the new documents locally.

Two modes are available. One file from a range produces a single PDF containing only the pages you specify. One file per page explodes the document into individual PDFs and bundles them into a ZIP archive, which is useful for archiving scanned batches or splitting a combined invoice run per customer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I write a page range?
Comma-separated ranges with 1-based numbering, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. An empty range means every page.
Can I split a scanned PDF?
Yes. Splitting works on page objects, so scanned images are copied intact and output quality is unchanged.
Why is my ZIP download a different file type?
One file per page is delivered as a ZIP archive so you receive a single download instead of dozens. Unzip it to get the individual PDFs.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Existing page content is copied into the new documents without re-encoding, so images and fonts are untouched.
Is there a page limit?
No. Only your device memory matters. A 500-page text document splits in a couple of seconds.
